Some goodbyes arrive without warning, leaving behind a silence that words can never truly fill. Brendan Bork, a 22-year-old young man from Bayard, Iowa, was taken from this world far too soon following a heartbreaking crash on Friday.

Shortly after noon, Brendan was traveling west on 130th Street when his Jeep failed to yield at a stop sign at Justice Road. At that moment, a northbound semi collided broadside with his vehicle. Despite the tragedy unfolding in an instant, Brendan could not be saved. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

At only 22 years old, Brendan had so much life still waiting for him—more mornings to wake up to, more dreams to chase, more memories to make, and more moments to share with the people who loved him. His passing leaves behind an emptiness that cannot be measured, a reminder of how fragile and precious every moment truly is.

Authorities said Daniel was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the 000 block of North Jones Street after officers responded to a report shortly before 2 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators believe the shooting was targeted and do not believe it was a random act of violence. The circumstances and motive remain under investigation.

Today, we pause not to remember the tragedy alone, but to remember Daniel—the life, the memories, the moments, and the love he leaves behind.

Ahmed was traveling along the interstate when he encountered a crash and made the compassionate decision to stop. At only 18 years old, when many dreams were still waiting to unfold, he chose to step forward and help those who had been involved in the collision. In an instant, that selfless act of kindness became a heartbreaking tragedy.

According to authorities, Ahmed had gotten out of his vehicle near the crash scene when he was struck by a passing vehicle. Despite the efforts at the scene, he sadly died there. Police responded at approximately 2:30 a.m., and the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident remain under investigation.

There are no perfect words for a loss so sudden, especially when a life so young had so much future ahead. Ahmed should have had countless more mornings to wake up, more memories to create, more laughter to share, and more dreams to chase.

His final moments were marked not by indifference, but by compassion. He stopped because someone needed help. That kindness will forever remain part of the story of his life.

With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we remember Christopher Raffi Garabedian, 22, of Sherman Oaks, California, whose promising life was tragically taken following a motorcycle crash near San Diego’s Sunset Cliffs on Wednesday afternoon.

Christopher was just over a month away from celebrating his 23rd birthday—a milestone that should have brought joy, laughter, and new memories with the people who loved him. Instead, those who knew him are left holding memories of a young man whose journey ended far too soon.

Christopher was a student at Point Loma Nazarene University, with so much of life still waiting ahead of him. His dreams, hopes, friendships, and future plans were suddenly interrupted by a devastating collision on Catalina Boulevard in the Point Loma area.

According to authorities, Christopher was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle shortly after noon when a Jeep crossed in front of him, resulting in a collision. He was transported to a hospital but sadly passed away later that day.

No words can truly measure the weight of a young life lost or the emptiness left behind. Twenty-two years may seem like far too short a chapter, but every life leaves behind footprints—memories, kindness, laughter, and moments that remain forever in the hearts of others.

Donald was traveling west near County Road 22 when, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, he attempted to pass another vehicle. In that devastating moment, his SUV was struck by a semi traveling east. Despite the suddenness of the tragedy, there was nothing that could be done, and Donald was pronounced dead at the scene.

Some moments change everything. One moment there is a familiar face, a voice, a life filled with ordinary plans and tomorrow’s possibilities—and then, suddenly, there is an emptiness that words cannot fully describe.

Donald was more than a name in a heartbreaking news report. He was a son, a friend, a neighbor, and someone whose presence mattered to the people fortunate enough to know him. A Story of Life, Faith, and God’s Faithfulness.

Tonight, our hearts are filled with gratitude, prayer, and hope for Pastor Jake and Rosa following a devastating head-on collision in Midland, Texas. Their lives were suddenly placed in danger after an alleged drunk driver ran a red light, leaving both with serious injuries.

Above everything, we praise God for preserving their lives. God’s mercy has carried them through a moment that could have ended very differently.

Mama Rosa suffered a fractured sternum and significant bruising, enduring pain that no words can fully describe. Pastor Jake underwent spinal surgery and remains sedated as he begins the difficult journey toward recovery.

Yet even in this painful chapter, there is still reason to believe, still reason to pray, and still reason to hope.

Lord, stretch forth Your healing hands over Jake and Rosa. Bring strength to every broken and wounded place. Give wisdom and steady hands to every medical professional caring for them. Surround their family, loved ones, and congregation with peace when fear tries to overwhelm them.

May every sunrise bring renewed strength, every day bring progress, and every moment remind them that they are never walking this road alone.

Their story is not finished. Their purpose remains. Their testimony is still being written.

Kenneth was a passenger in a Dodge Nitro traveling along Louisiana Highway 13 near ORO Trail Road when the devastating collision occurred. Though the moments passed quickly, the loss left behind a lifetime of memories that will never fade. His passing is a heartbreaking reminder of how suddenly an ordinary evening can become a moment of unimaginable grief.

Behind the name “Big Man” was a life that mattered deeply—a son, family member, friend, and cherished soul whose presence brought meaning to the lives around him. Today, those who knew and loved Kenneth are left holding memories, photographs, stories, and the quiet moments that make someone unforgettable.

His funeral services will be held Saturday, September 26, 2026, at True Light Missionary Baptist Church in Lake Charles, with viewing from 9:00–11:00 a.m. and the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Combre Memorial Park.

Naadirah Sheri Fussell, 34 — A Beautiful Life Tragically Taken.

With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we remember Naadirah Sheri Fussell, 34, of Newport News, Virginia, whose life was tragically cut short following a shooting on September 8, 2026.

That September morning, at approximately 7:57 a.m., officers responded to the 6300 block of Grossman Place in the New Market section of Newport News after receiving a report of a person suffering from a gunshot wound. Inside an apartment, they discovered Naadirah with gunshot wounds. She was rushed to a local medical facility, where every effort was made to care for her. Sadly, after fighting for her life, she passed away on Wednesday.

An autopsy later determined that Naadirah’s death was a homicide, according to the medical examiner.

Behind her name was a life that mattered—a daughter, a loved one, a friend, and a precious human being whose presence brought meaning to the lives around her. Her story should never be reduced to the circumstances of her passing. She was more than a headline; she was a soul with dreams, memories, laughter, hopes, and people who loved her.

Now, those who knew Naadirah are left carrying memories where there should have been more tomorrows. The silence left behind can never truly be filled.

Just before noon, a peaceful moment turned into unimaginable sorrow along southbound Route 13 near Wachapreague Road. Davis was riding his bicycle when a collision involving a gray 2011 Ford F-150 occurred. The impact left him with fatal injuries, and despite the efforts that followed, he could not be saved.

The news of his passing leaves behind a silence that words can never truly fill. Forty-nine years of life, memories, conversations, laughter, hopes and moments shared with others have now become treasured memories carried in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

When someone leaves this world unexpectedly, the pain is often measured not only by the moment of loss, but by all the moments that will never come—the conversations that will never happen, the smiles that will never again be seen, and the days that loved ones once imagined would continue.
